The talking mouse

Maybe you have already visited a Disney park once in your life. In these parks it is possible to have a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse. When children and their parents have a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse, Mickey won’t say anything. Which is strange, because Mickey can speak on television and in movies.

Until this week, in Walt Disney World Orlando Mickey can talk with his guests. Mickey has a high pitched voice, like on television and in his films. There is not only the voice, but his eyes and mouth are also moving sync along with several phrases. Adding these movements changes the way Mickey interacts with his audience, so the experience will be bigger during the renewed meeting.

I think that more theme parks would like to have a talking character, because it expands the experience and children would like the character in one of the souvenirshops. So the bigger the experience, the bigger the sales.
